My Spirited Journey
I’m Marie Heard, a psychic medium based in Savannah, Georgia. I connect people with loved ones in spirit and offer insight into the path unfolding in their lives, but I approach this work a little differently than most.
Outside of mediumship, I’m a master’s-level data analyst and criminologist. My background is rooted in evidence, observation, and asking questions, and I bring that same mindset into my work as a medium. I’m naturally curious, a little skeptical by nature, and drawn to evidential mediumship where the focus is on clear, specific details that can be recognized and validated.
That said, my experiences with spirit started long before I had language for any of this.
One of my earliest memories is from around age three, during a difficult time in my childhood. I remember a calm, reassuring woman appearing and telling me I was going to be okay then disappearing just as quickly. Years later, I would recognize her in a family photo as my second great-grandmother, who had passed decades before I was born.
By the time I was eight, I realized not everyone was having the same experiences I was. I casually asked my mom to make the little girl in our living room leave me alone so I could finish coloring only to learn no one else could see her.
From there, things clicked.
Growing up, I continued seeing and hearing spirit clearly, often with specific details about their lives. Eventually, my curiosity got the best of me, and I started testing it. I’d ask people oddly specific questions about loved ones who had passed… and kept getting it right. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just imagination. It was something I needed to understand and learn how to work with.
Over time, what started as informal readings for friends and family grew into something more intentional. Around eighteen, I began developing my abilities more seriously and eventually started working with clients professionally.
Today, mediumship is a meaningful part of my life, but it’s not the only part. I still approach this work the same way I always have — with curiosity, responsibility, and a grounded perspective.
I’ve also expanded my practice to include tarot and astrology which offer additional layers of insight into patterns, timing, and life direction. Mediumship remains the foundation, but these tools help round out the bigger picture.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to listen carefully, share what comes through honestly, and give you something real, something you can actually take with you.
